Privacy policy: Service Business Toolkit (Chrome extension)

Short version: the extension does not collect, transmit or share any data. Everything you type stays in your own browser.

What the extension does

Service Business Toolkit is a browser popup with three local tools: a job price calculator, a paperwork checklist and a no-show cost estimator. It has no background process, no content scripts and does not read, modify or interact with any web page you visit.

Data stored

The extension uses Chrome's storage permission to remember the numbers you enter (for example wage, overhead, appointments per week), which checklist items you have ticked and which tab you last used. This data is stored locally on your device by your browser. If you have Chrome sync enabled, Chrome may sync it between your own signed-in devices under Google's policies; we never receive it.

Data transmitted

None. The extension makes no network requests. The only way it contacts this website is when you choose to click a link in the popup, which opens the page in a new tab like any other link.

Third parties

No analytics, advertising or tracking libraries are included. The extension contains no remote code.

Deleting your data

Removing the extension from Chrome deletes everything it stored. You can also clear it at any time from chrome://extensions by removing and reinstalling.
